Protect your loved ones with SafetyGate™… and prevent dangerous restarts.

SafetyGate™ Consumer Retrofit
by SafeStart Systems™
Each year, thousands of children and adults are injured when an electrically powered device unexpectedly comes back on after a power interruption. The cause of these injuries is when an appliance or tool’s switch is left “on” after a power outage, circuit breaker trip or accidental unplugging from the wall outlet.
Our patented SafetyGate™ Retrofit Product Series can eliminate the dangerous hazard of unauthorized restarts found in over 1.3 billion consumer appliances, power tools, and industrial machines in use today.
The Safety Gate Consumer Retrofit™ is completely automatic. There are no buttons to push or switches to reset. It weighs less than 5.6g (2 oz.) and two retrofits can be used in a standard wall outlet. Because of SafeStart Systems’ miniaturization technology, consumer appliances can now have the same safety anti-restart protection previously available only for large Industrial machinery, as required by OSHA, NFPA and the CSA*.
The ingenious lock release allows you to remove the Safety Gate™ Consumer Retrofit should the time come to replace your appliance. The Safety Gate™ Consumer Retrofit is manufactured in the U.S.A. and comes in an attractive white housing with yellow accents.
Available in Single, Dual and Three-packs along with a SafetyGate™ Professional Retrofit.
