SafeStart Systems LLC has announced that in the past 60 days its SafetyGate Consumer and SafetyGate Professional Products have been purchased and installed by dozens of schools from Tucson, Arizona to Morristown, New Jersey for their Wood Shop, Metal Shop and Home Economic classrooms. Operations Manager Kathleen Lombard reports “We have identified as many as 67 hazardous tools and appliances in each school. Once administrators recognize the simple fix to restart hazards with our SafetyGate line of retrofit products, the sale is simple. We have also had requests for product by custodial staffs as well.”
In addition to local schools and public works departments, SafeStart Systems’ SafetyGate products continue to find their way into Government and Municipal institutions across the country ranging from NASA, The FAA and most recently the National Park Service in Zion, Utah.
Managing Director Jon Russell comments “We are committed to providing a low cost solution to the dangerous hazard of unintended restarts. What better place to educate power tool and appliance users than in public schools?”
